WOULD-be interior decorators are in for a treat if they have always aspired to the stylings of Linda Barker or Handy Andy.
Blackburn College has set about encouraging decorators and plans to pass on some of the top techniques for free.
Home decorating could even turn into a new career, according to the organisers of the new course.
It will cover tricks of the trade, including how to achieve a perfectly painted door or how to wallpaper ceilings.
All the training will be delivered by fully qualified staff in the painting and decorating section at the Construction Technology College in Montague Street, Blackburn.
To book a free place on the course contact Sheila Lysons on 01254 4292294 or email s.lysons@blackburn.ac.uk.
The course is run in conjunction with Elevate East Lancashire.
The free decorative skills courses at the college begin today and run until March 8 from 6pm to 9pm each Monday.
