A CHARITY night will have a special meaning for members of an Accrington WMC.
The extravaganza, in aid of the Christie Hospital, will be held tomorrow night at the Sydney Street WMC.
Steward John Freeman said many of members of the club whose lives have been blighted by cancer have received care and treatment at Christies .
John added: "Quite a few of the members of the club have had treatment for cancer. We do at least one event a year for Christie's because they help people so much."
John said the evening will have five top class acts, of singers and comedians, who are giving up their time for free.
The night starts at 8pm, admission is free and funds will be raised through raffles.
