SEEING as the deal for Brian McBride fell through (Rovers losing out to Fulham) why don't we give our own strike force a kick up the backside.
I mean, come on, we have Cole, Yorke, Jansen and now young Paul Gallagher in our line-up, which should be good enough to keep us at least in the top 10.
I really don't see the point in buying players 30+ who have already had the bite of the apple, when we should be giving players like Gallagher a chance.
Why don't we go for a striker like Rob Earnshaw of Cardiff who I'm sure would relish the opportunity of playing in the Premiership. He's even had international experience with Wales and is a prolific goalscorer.
