BLACKBURN Rovers' two Academy sides are still unbeaten in 2004 following two more impressive results at the weekend.
The under 19s shared the points with neighbours Bolton Wanderers at Brockhall after a tight derby ended in a 1-1 draw.
But the result of the day belonged to the Under 17s who beat Liverpool 4-0.
In three matches in January, Ian Miller's have racked up 16 goals, with just three in reply.
Neither side really threatened to open the scoring in a close first half but Rovers began to dominate after the break.
Joe Garner broke the deadlock with an exquisite finish for the opener.
Sergio Peter then extended the visitors' advantage with a brace of goals before Garner had the last word, lobbing the Reds' goalkeeper to notch Rovers' fourth -- his 24th goal of the season.
"I am delighted with the result, Liverpool is never an easy place to go to. Everyone has started really well after the Christmas break, it's very pleasing," said Miller.
Meanwhile, Matty Derbyshire was on target as the Under 19s came from behind to draw with Bolton.
"It was a typical derby match, very fast and very competitive," said team coach Rob Kelly.
"The lads showed a good attitude and I can't fault them. Both sides made chances and probably a draw was about right."
