PRESTON manager Craig Brown has finally snared the international he has been hunting for some time - Scot star Craig Burley.
Brown has cashed in on cost-cutting measured at Dundee by grabbing Burley, with 46 caps to his name, on a short-term deal.
The 33-year-old midfielder joined Chelsae as a trainee, and moved to Celtic for £2.5m in 1997. Two years on and he hooked up with Derby for £3m, counting Brian O'Neil among his team mates.
He joined Dundee in the summer - along with Fabrizio Ravanelli, who left Derby for Dundee at the same time - but both were released from their contracts when the club got into financial difficulties.
Burley arrived at Deepdale today, and could face Burnley in a reserve game tomorrow night ahead of Saturday's trip to Sunderland.
