YOUNG children are in for a treat when the Bananas in Pyjamas show, based on the Australian pre-school TV series for 0-5 year olds, comes to the Charter Theatre.
Bananas in Pyjamas, B1 and B2, are mischievous twins who cannot resist playing tricks on their Teddy Bear friends Amy, Lulu and Morgan. Just down the street is Rat in a Hat, whose shop is visited regularly by the Bananas and teddies.
The series has a mixture of narration and dialogue, complemented by specially composed music and songs. Each story features fun, adventures and good humour aimed at pre-school children.
They have travelled the world, even visited the White House, and were included in the closing ceremony parade at the Sydney 2000 Olympics.
Now the characters are coming to Preston's Charter Theatre, on Saturday, February 14, at 1pm and 3.30pm, for two fun packed shows filled with music, laughter and plenty of audience participation.
Tickets are £7 (children), £8 (adults) and £24 for a family ticket (two children, two adults).
