BURNLEY defender Arthur Gnohere is back on the treatment table after another injury setback.
The Frenchman suffered a recurrence of his recent hamstring injury in training and faces another few weeks on the sidelines.
However, there is better news regarding fellow hamstring victim Paul Weller, who could be back in the running in time to face Gillingham at Turf Moor in nine days time after stepping up his recovery.
Clarets boss Stan Ternent confirmed: "I would say Paul will be back in contention a week on Saturday, but unfortunately Arthur is out for another couple of weeks after doing his hamstring again.
"He slipped and tweaked it again and it's a shame because he was just getting over it."
However, the Clarets are still in remarkably good shape ahead of the trip to high-flying Wigan this weekend.
Despite having a small squad at his disposal, Ternent's only other absentee is Paul Scott, who is now back in rehabilitation following a broken foot sustained last September.
And after seeing morale boosted following a four-game unbeaten run, which keeps his side undefeated in 2004, the Burnley boss heads for the JJB Stadium in high spirits and looking to take another giant step towards First Division safety.
Ternent, who recently targeted eight wins to reach the 50-point safety mark, added: "We haven't lost this year and we are hopefully looking a lot tighter at the back.
"Wigan is a good derby match to have and we should have a good following over there, so everything is set up nicely."
