AN animal lover has put up a cash reward in a bid to help find her missing dog Sabre.
Susan Schofield, 42, of Lancaster Drive, Padiham, owns two dogs and spends her days caring for her daughter, Rebecca, 15 months, as a single mother.
She said her life has been thrown upside down since Sabre disappeared about two weeks ago.
Sabre, a 15-year-old Alsatian cross, with a white and cream neck and bushy tail, has been micro-chipped, which will help identify him if found.
Susan said: "Sabre is part of the family and it feels like I have lost a child.
"It's very traumatic. My other dog, Blackie, has just picked at his food since Sabre's disappearance."
Susan says she is offering an undisclosed reward for Sabre's safe return. Anyone who thinks they may have seen Sabre can contact Susan on 01282 776360.
