FUNDRAISERS are seeking volunteers to help bring in cash for East Lancashire's three hospices.
For the first time Rossendale, Pendleside and East Lancashire Hospices have joined forces in a major appeal to raise £100,000 for patient care.
The Hospices Mini Raffle in conjunction with Musbury Fabrics, of Helmshore, was launched last September.
Tickets to win a Mini Cooper donated by the company cost £1 with all proceeds going to the hospices. The raffle will be drawn in August.
During the year the Mini will be on display throughout East Lancashire, spending a month in each hospice area.
Throughout February it will be in Blackburn, Hyndburn and the Ribble Valley.
Harry Grayson, of the East Lancashire Hospice, said: "We will pick the Mini up on Saturday then take it out into the communities so people can see what they could win.
"At each location there will also be a stand with information on the hospices along with people selling tickets. We have had no problem finding sites for the Mini but one of the difficulties is getting people to man the stands and we are desperate for people to help selling tickets."
