A STRIKE by Metrolink tram drivers, due to start at midnight on Friday, has been called off .
Members of Aslef at Metrolink in Manchester were due to stage a fourth walkout in a row with the Transport and General Workers Union over recognition.
The TUC intervened in the dispute and said on Friday that the strike had been called off while further talks are held.
