BLACKBURN Drama Club celebrated its 60th anniversary in style.
The event, which included a buffet, a display of memorabilia and speeches and messages from past members, took place at the Astley Bank Hotel in Darwen.
Some members, like 92-year-old Winnie Shaliker, who appeared in the club's second play The Torch Bearers in April '44, were unable to attend on the night, but sent messages of congratulations and best wishes.
Meanwhile, former members - ex-Coronation Street star Madge Hindle and Bill Shaw, talked about The Pleasurable Problems Of Being An Actor.
Club secretary Eric Nolan said: "There were 63 of us in total - aged 18 to 80 plus - and it was quite an evening.
"The speakers were very interesting to listen to and gave us a nice link with the past."
The club's next production will be An Evening With Gary Lineker - its 233rd play. It will be staged from March 10 to 13.
