CLIVIGER - Parish Councillors will meet with Leanne Sheradon from Lancashire County Council Adult Education Department tomorrow night, as the LCC have stated that they want adult education classes to be available within the parish.

AT their January meeting parish councillors resolved to distribute a newsletter to all residents regarding future funding of initiatives within the parish, as soon as finance for its production can be secured.

ROCK Water Bird Park has closed due to the increasing costs of licences and compliance with new legislation.

THE footbridge in Park Road was badly vandalised over the Christmas period, and resulted in injury to a resident.

Local councillors are concerned that this, along with reports of youth misbehaviour at the playground, in Park Road, is a result of the lack of community resources for children and young people.

Installation of a security light at the playground is being considered.

CONTAINERS sited close to the changing rooms at Mount Lane Sports field will, hopefully, be removed within the next couple of months.
