TOMMY Delaney has just taken over the reigns at the Park Inn, Manchester Road, Accrington.
He joins the Park Inn from the Hospital Inn, Bamber Bridge.
Tommy, 64, and wife Pauline are well known in Blackburn as he used to be the assistant steward at Mill Hill Working Men's Club.
He also spent a lot of his time out of the pub trade working for Co-op dairies in Fleetwood.
But it's in East Lancashire where Tommy feels at home.
He said: "They are the most friendly people in the world in Accrington. We have been made very welcome."
