WORLD Cup soccer legend Nobby Stiles helped to boost the Chaigley Manor Children's Appeal.
The former England and Manchester United hero was chief guest at a sportsman's dinner when a grand raffle raised more than £300 to help the Ribble Valley Convalescent Home.
Work was set to start within weeks on the £126million Blackburn Southerly by-pass.
