LEIGH archivist and former curator of the Lancashire Mining Museum, Allan Davies, returns to Atherton Heritage Society on Tuesday, February 10, at 7.30pm where he will speak on "A History of Mining Through Art".
He will give visitors a comprehensive history of mining from 3000BC to 1984 in St Richard's Jubilee Hall, Mayfield Street. Admission is members £1, non members £1.50.
