TIGER Woods beware - Radcliffe has its own budding champion golfer in eight-year-old Jordyn Fitton.
Jordyn, who goes to Cams Lane School, Radcliffe, has been taking part in the sport's 'Playgolf4kids' initiative, held at the golf facility close to the Trafford Centre shopping complex, since he was six.
Coached by PGA professional Simon Reeves, Jordyn has passed Playgolf4kids first three levels, followed by success in Elite Levels 1,2 and 3, leading to the club's diploma and premier class.
Last November it held it's first championship and Jordyn won the 4-7 age group at Heaton Park golf course, over eight holes.
He received an engraved plaque, a private golf video lesson with his coach and a £20 JJB voucher.
With one championship under his belt Jordyn is now preparing for the next one in May.
So watch out Tiger, Jordyn's coming!
