ATHERTON Collieries were again left kicking their heels when Saturday's scheduled game at Bacup became a victim of the bad weather.
Colls are joint bottom of the league at present, but since the arrival of Alan Lord as manager the club's fortunes have picked up with some excellent results.
The Colls are at home this Saturday but the opposition couldn't be much tougher. Mossley are top of the league and clear favourites for promotion to the Unibon League.
Colls' squad is much stronger now than it was at the start of the season and Mossley will know they have been in a match, irrespective of the result. Kick off is at 3pm.
If there is any doubt about the game taking place, contact 01942-879209 or 07929374641.
