POLICE investigating the murder of 44-year-old David Young at his home on Cadman Grove, Hindley, have been granted permission to continue questioning a man.
A 29-year-old Wigan man has been arrested on suspicion of murder, and officers have now been given an additional 36 hours to question him.
Police discovered Mr Young's body after they were called to the house at 9.50am on Tuesday.
Officers are now appealing for the public's help in tracing his last movements on Monday February 2.
A post mortem examination revealed he had died from head injuries.
A second man, aged 27 from Hindley was also arrested on suspicion of perverting the course of justice in connection with the incident.
