Look, it's bucketing down outside and it's not going to change for days.
I'm a Celebrity is getting boring -- so do yourself a favour and get yourself off to the Blackpool Grand for a quick theatre fix by enjoying a young lively cast's production of Rodger and Hammerstein's Carousel.
The show stars Sam Kane as Billy Bigelow, the loveable rogue who falls in love with beautiful millworker Julie Jordan at the Carousel ride.
It's a perfect antidote to a wet Monday night in February was to see them throw themselves in to a rendering of June Is Busting Out All Over (s'pose it makes a change from Jordan) and for me this was the highlight of Wayne Sleep's choreography.
Other highlights were Nettie & Julie's You'll Never Walk Alone, Billy's powerful soliloquy and Lynsey Britton's all round performance as Carrie. Go and see it. You'll be glad you did.
