NEW age bikers' gear was worn by drama students for a fashion and beauty show at Accrington.
Drama, dance, media, textiles and hairdressing students at Accrington and Rossendale College united for the catwalk event, although the main work was done by youngsters on a Face, Fashion and Photography course.
College lecturer Carol O'Brien who oversaw the show, and colleague Karen Coupe said: "It's an extremely popular course and it was a brilliant show, which was recorded on video and included choreography.
"Local school pupils came to an afternoon performance. We've had a number of fashion shows, which are always popular."
The original idea came from Dee Cookson, who owns the New Age Bikers' clothes shop in the town.
She said: "I thought it would be an interesting project for students on different courses. It was a really great night."
Dee said her new age shop was opened by a group of bikers who used to attend rallies.
She rides a Kawasaki Eliminator and Honda Rebel. "My two bikes have retro-styling, with lots of chrome. They're gorgeous," she added.
