NEW boss Mick Molloy takes his Nelson side to Blackpool Mechanics on Saturday still looking for his first win in charge.
Nelson have drawn one and lost three games under Molloy's guidance but he is confident that the elusive victory is not too far away.
Molloy is calling on his players to repeat the performance they showed against Conference side Morecambe in the quarter-final of the Marsden Trophy, a game Nelson eventually lost 6-2.
He said: "If we play like we did for large periods of the match against Morecambe then I am sure that first win is not far away."
Molloy will hand a first team debut to goalkeeper Simon Hewitt as regular number one Billy Carrington has sustained a foot injury.
