FOR a long time now I have been puzzled by what seems to be an island on the horizon looking across from Blackpool or Cleveleys prom.
It was even more noticeable last summer with such good weather.
But nothing on maps.
Most people say it is the Isle of Man but that doesn't seem right to me as the Isle of Man is much further up opposite the Cumbrian coast.
I was hoping you may have the answer as you may have been asked this before.
