I FOUND the 'Blue Murder' article very interesting. This month we went to the Grand Theatre, and parked the car in Birley Street on a disabled parking place.

We place the blue card, the correct way up in the middle of the dashboard. I turned to look, as we left the car to see that it was visible. On our return we had a fixed penalty on the windscreen. The car next to ours also had one, though you could see both the blue and time cards next to each other. However, down the street a further two if not three disabled parkers had also got fixed penalty tickets.

What are the odds of four cars, all with disabled blue cards, all being 'wrong' on the same night, in the same street?

Our night out was ruined and I had a sleepless night. They must be out to make 'targets' which is utterly unacceptable. It is just robbery and should be stopped by the council.
