COASTER Kingdom is one of the most popular European theme park resources on the internet and welcomes over a thousand unique visitors daily, and over a million pages visits annually.
At the moment we are fairly well advanced into writing a comprehensive feature celebrating 10 years of the Pepsi Max Big One and the impact it has had in Blackpool.
Specifically, we're looking for information on the following aspects:
1. The impact on Blackpool as a resort, such as how visitor numbers were affected etcetera.
2. The impact locally on Blackpool. How did the residents of Blackpool view the Pepsi Max Big One, and how Blackpool Pleasure Beach has evolved from an overgrown fairground to become a serious place to visit.
3. How the ride was received by the press and the feedback it received in general.
4. Information on how the opening of the ride was combined with the Blackpool Tower's centenary as part of the 'Two Tall Stories' campaign.
5. The long-term impacts that the Big One has had in shaping the present day Blackpool.
6. Marketing campaigns and literature, both in 1994 and in the years following.
If you are able to help in any way, you will, of course, be fully credited, and your contribution will be greatly appreciated.
