A GLAMOROUS gran has gained a new lease of life by going back to school.
Seventy-year-old Leila Singer has just graduated from Salford University with a Diploma in Counselling.
And the grandmother of four has taken to studying so easily that she is already in the throes of her second diploma, this time in therapeutic hypnosis.
Leila, who lives in Ringley Road, Whitefield, said: "I can't get enough of it! I loved the course, I felt I was doing some good and the tutors and other students were fantastic. I got a lot of support and They didn't treat me like 'grandma'."
Leila graduated last week in full cap and gown at The Lowry in Manchester.
She uses her new-found skills at a private practice.
