BURNLEY boss Stan Ternent has slammed suggestions that Arthur Gnohere is set to join QPR.
French defender Gnohere was widely reported to be set to leave for Rangers for the second time this season, following a loan spell back in September.
However, Ternent insisted no such move was on the cards given the shortage of defenders at his disposal.
He said: "I can categorically state that Arthur Gnohere will not be joining Queens Park Rangers.
"I have no idea where these reports come from, but to my knowledge, there is absolutely nothing in it."
Rangers boss Ian Holloway has made no secret of his admiration for Gnohere and previously expressed an interest in taking the 25-year-old on a permanent basis.
However, with only three specialist centre halves on the books, including David May and Mark McGregor, Burnley would be risking more defensive danger if they were to allow the Ivory Coast-born stopper to move south.
Meanwhile, the Clarets are refusing to get frustrated over the delay in discovering their FA Cup fifth round fate.
Conference side Telford will this week make a third effort to stage their protracted fourth round clash with Millwall, which has twice been postponed due to a waterlogged pitch.
Another postponement could lead to Telford surrendering home advantage and the game being played on fifth round day on a neutral ground, with Wolves' Molineux being mooted as a possible alternative venue.
The Clarets have now learned that Wednesday, February 18 is the first provisional date for the tie, should either a fourth attempt, or a replay be necessary.
Meanwhile, the Burnley management team can only sit and wait patiently for an outcome before finalising tactics and travel plans.
Assistant boss Sam Ellis said: "We will scout the game between Telford and Millwall whenever it is played, so nothing changes there.
"It's out of our hands really, but the one good thing about the FA Cup is that we are still in it."
"The only time it is annoying or upsetting is when your name is not in the hat.
"Ours is, but beating Gillingham today is our first priority, not whether we play Telford or Millwall." Meanwhile, club officials have been forced to gear up for every eventuality and have announced ticket details for the fifth round tie, subject to a positive outcome on Wednesday.
That would leave just 48 hours to sell either the 2,000 tickets allocated for Millwall, or 1,450 tickets for Telford, ahead of the fifth round tie on Valentines Day.
Millwall tickets will cost £17 (adults), £11 (over 65s) and £8 (U16's), while Telford (standing only) are priced at £12 (adults) and £10 (concessions).
Due to the short timescale involved, no postal applications can be accepted.
Provisionally, the Turf Moor ticket office will be open until 7.30pm on both Thursday 12 and Friday February 13 for the sale of FA Cup tickets only.
Sales on the Thursday will be for season ticket holders on production of Voucher FF, or over the counter for Foundation Members and shareholders.
Any remaining tickets will then be put on general sale from 9.15am on Friday, February 13 until 7.30pm (or while tickets are still available).
A revised schedule of forthcoming fixtures, taking into account all options, can be found in Turf Beat.
