PEOPLE in Burnley are being given the opportunity to question leading councillors and council officers at a series of public meetings.
The events, being held across the borough in February, March and April, will include a presentation on the work the council is doing to improve the borough, including the Elevate regeneration programme.
There will also be a guest speaker at each event to talk about a specific topic of local interest.
Residents who attend will have the chance to ask questions.
The meetings have been organised following the success of similar events last year.
Council leader Stuart Caddy said: "Last year's roadshows were a great success with hundreds of people attending.
"This year we're making them bigger and better. There will be twice as many meetings, with councillors and officers on hand to answer people's questions.
"We will be providing information on what is being done by the council and other organisations for their neighbourhood and the borough as a whole.
"But we will also be there to listen to what people have to say to us." Details of the meetings are as follows:
Thursday, February 26, Daneshouse Community Centre, Daneshouse Road, Burnley. Guest speakers Burnley Council and the police.
Wednesday, March 3, Christ the King Primary School, Calderbrook Avenue, Burnley. Guest speakers Burnley Council and Lancashire County Council on secondary school reorganisation.
