ORGANISATIONS and individuals working to improve the lives of people in Rossendale are being invited to take part in a Festival of Local Life.
The event has been jointly organised by Community Action in Rossendale (CAR) and the community office at Alder Grange Technology School.
It is part of a drive to improve the borough and aims to help all the groups, organisations and individuals in the community work together to bring in more funding and develop joint projects.
The Festival of Local Life, which is being held at Alder Grange Technology School, in Rawtenstall, on Saturday, February 21, 1pm to 10pm, will allow groups to meet each other and recruit volunteers.
It will include talks, presentations and exhibitions during the day, followed by a buffet meal and community concert in the evening.
If your group is not already taking part in the Festival of Local Life but would like, contact Stephen Hall in the community office at Alder Grange on 01706 210276.
