Blackie is a black and white cross Collie, approximately four to five years old. He was admitted to the Home on 30th October 2003 via the Oldham Dog Warden after he was found wandering in Coldhurst.
Blackie was rehomed for a short while but was unfortunately returned due to his owner passing away. He has received some basic training, as he will sit and stay on command and he is also good on his lead, as he loves to go for long walks.
Blackie has a very friendly nature and would be suitable to be rehomed with children, adults and other dogs. He is not recommended to be rehomed with small animals. Blackie loves to play with his toys and he will require a variable amount of exercise.
Overall he is a very obedient dog who requires love and affection from a caring owner.
He has been castrated, fully vaccinated and microchipped.
If you are interested in rehoming Blackie you could contact our Kennel Manager or Full-Time Veterinary Surgeon on 0161 205 2874 who would both be happy to answer any questions you feel necessary to ask. Blackie has been microchipped and fully vaccinated.
The Home appeals to anyone who has the affection and understanding to offer Blackie a home, to visit the Manchester Dogs Home.
