SOME weeks ago, Stephen Capriati appealed for toys for the children of Bam who lost everything in the earthquake.
We have now taken a vanload to Felixstowe and watched as they were loaded on to the ship.
Stephen is a volunteer worker at the Blind Society where the toys were stored and sorted and we would, on his behalf, like to thank all the people who made such generous donations of new toys and clothing. It is quite amazing how kind you have all been.
Any non-new toys and clothing left over are being donated to other children's charities around the world. We all hope this meets with the approval of those who gave and all who helped Stephen with his appeal.
