PEOPLE in Rossendale can take advantage of a series of taster sessions designed to show some of the benefits of alternative therapies.
Information about acupuncture, homeopathy, crystal healing, reflexology and hypnotherapy will be given at a special demonstration by staff at The Cedars, Rawtenstall.
There will be taster sessions in beauty therapy, Indian head massage, psychic readings and hands-on healing.
There will also be stalls selling jewellery, crystals, beauty products and organic health foods in conjunction with local businesses.
For the children there will be face painting and balloons. The Cedars are also offering visitors the chance to win a treatment and there will be a raffle prize for an evening's stay at a top hotel.
Part of the proceeds from the event will be donated to local charities.
Crystal healing therapist Susan Shanaz Baker said: "Whatever your state of health, whether you have a chronic illness, are full of aches and pains or are fit as a fiddle, your health matters.
"All the Cedars therapists are professionally qualified and insured and are looking forward to sharing their knowledge and expertise with as many people as possible on the day."
The event is being held at Ramsbottom Civic Hall on Sunday from 10am until 4pm. For more information contact 01706 213671.
