A YOUNG woman was treated in hospital for smoke inhalation after an early morning cooker fire.
The fire happened at 1.20am on Sunday (Feb 8) when a pan overheated at the woman's home in King Street, Radcliffe. Flames spread to the cooker hood and a cupboard.
The 21-year-old woman was given oxygen and taken to hospital as a precaution. Two children and a dog in the house escaped injury.
Fire crews from Whitefield and Bury attended the fire.
