WELL done to Rosegrove Infant School in Owen Street.
The school has been one of seven singled out for praise by education watchdog Ofsted after inspecting more than 4,000 schools last year.
Rosegrove infants were celebrating after being told they were one of the seven schools who were top of the class.
ROSEGROVE Action need volunteers to help with the Rosegrove clean up on Saturday, February 21. People should meet at 12 Lowerhouse Lane at 10.30am.
Organised by the community wardens, the event will include equipment provided for all.
A RESIDENT on Liverpool Road has received grants from the Home Maintenance project which is run by Anchor Staying Put, for urgent jobs in the house.
She also received a free home fire safety check and smoke alarms run by the fire brigade and loft insulation from Warm Front, a government-funded scheme.
She was not aware of the help that is available until she visited Rosegrove Action group shop and picked up information leaflets.
THE residents of Lowerhouse and Rosegrove are invited to Ivy Bank School for the Local Planning in Action day to make make their voices heard.
Children's activities, creative art workshops 5-a-side soccer and free refreshments will also be on offer.
The Community Alliance has funded this event to be held on Sunday, February 15, from 12 until 4pm.
