GARY Jackson could be set for a recall to the Clitheroe side as they take on Atherton Collieries at home tomorrow.
Jackson confirmed his recovery from a broken foot with a hat-trick for the reserves last week and could provide a welcome boost for a Clitheroe team still reeling from their first NWCL Division One away defeat of the season at Woodley Sports last Saturday.
Bacup are next up for Woodley tomorrow, and Borough boss Brent Peters is looking for more of the same following Wednesday's 5-2 win over Ramsbottom United.
Peters said: "All over the park my players were a credit. We played some quality football but it didn't help Ramsbottom's cause with Chris Clarke getting sent off just on half-time.
"If anyone could have turned the game round, it was Chris with his pace and the movement of Lee Buggie up front, but losing Chris was going to make it more difficult for Ramsbottom."
Ramsbottom hope to have Gareth Gardiner fit again for the NWCL Division One trip to Abbey Hey.
