HARCHESTER United from Sky TV's Dream Team soccer soap opera are coming to Gigg Lane.
The squad from the popular programme have agreed to appear at the home of the Shakers in a fundraising fixture for the Bury FC supporters' trust Forever Bury.
Bury FC media man Gordon Sorfleet said: "This is a real coup for us and it promises to be a fantastic day for the trust and the club."
The main event will comprise a match of Bury FC representatives, members of the trust and people who have bid for a place in the team taking on the actors who appear in the programme.
At half time there will also be a five-a-side girls and ladies match between a Bury FC team and actresses from the cast.
And if that's not enough there's also an opportunity to have dinner with the Dream Team at a local hotel on the Saturday evening ahead of the game or dance the night away with them in a local nightspot!
Anyone wishing to put their names forward for the mens' 11-a-side team or the ladies' 5-a-side squad should make their monetary bid for a team place by visiting the websites www.foreverbury.co.uk or www.buryfc.co.uk alternatively await further news in the Bury Times .
