CALLING all Norwegian football fans with a soft spot for Blackburn Rovers!
Bjarte A. Bakke, the new chairman of the Blackburn Rovers Supporters Club Norwegian branch, is looking for new members to join him and several hundred other like-minded Rovers nuts in following their favourite team.
Rovers have had a strong links in Scandinavia for some time and now Bjarte and his colleagues are trying to enrol new members for their revamped supporters club over the next few weeks and months as part of a relaunch.
Norwegian Rovers followers will be able to get all the latest news and gossip about their favourite footy team at www.brscn.com.
And Bjarte and his colleagues are also hoping to strike a deal with Rovers which would entitle their members to certain discounts.
Membership costs £8 for the year and fans can now enrol via the website.
Bjarte, a 23-year-old student at UMIST, said: "I reckon there's probably about a thousand or so Rovers fans in Norway and we want to try and reach out to them by getting them even more interested in the team through our supporters club."
