YOUNGSTERS at Sudellside Community Centre can enjoy a range of activites during half-term next week.
A programme of playschemes will run throughout, ahead of a new club opening the following week.
On Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, from 5pm to 7pm, there is a variety of activities for nine to 12 year-olds.
There will also be an arts and craft session for five to 10-year-olds on Tuesday between 1pm and 3pm.
After half-term, staff at the centre will launch a new club to cater for nine to 12-year-olds.
Centre manager Sue Freear said: "We are starting up a new club for boys and girls on Thursdays starting on February 26.
"There will be two clubs running at the same time, one for boys and one for girls, between 4.15pm and 6pm.
"We will do things like cooking, sewing and computers with the girls and the boys can play pool or go on the PlayStation. That age group gets a bit left out, so it is just for the nine to 12-year-olds.
"Clubs tend to cater for the younger ones from five to eight year olds so this age group is too old for them and then they tend to be too young for the youth clubs."
Anyone wanting further details should contact Sue on 01254 760270.
