GREAT HARWOOD TOWN ...2
DARWEN ...0
TWO second-half goals earned Great Harwood Town a place in the final of the Division Two Trophy at the expense of local rivals Darwen.
In a bad tempered semi-final clash at the Showground, Paul Brown was dismissed early in the second period after reacting to Ryan Parr's aggressive approach, before Parr himself saw red late in the game for an elbow on Matt Anderton.
Darwen looked second best throughout, prompting boss Steve Wilkes to accuse his players of being "spineless", while Town did just enough to earn a final date with either Cheadle Town or Colne thanks to strikes on 68 and 80 minutes from Andy Taylor and Ryan Walsh respectively.
