WITH reference to the Burnley schools issue. I can't believe that, once again, Burnley Council actually intended to bulldoze many of it's secondary schools.
These are perfectly good buildings which, with some updating, would provide good schools for the future. Schools are about people learning not buildings.
The old market hall suffered the same fate and the new one has needed constant alteration. How much more money are we going to waste?
