PADIHAM and Great Harwood Town return to action tonight hoping to re-vitalise their North West Counties Division Two title challenges.
Harwood have been distracted by the Division Two Trophy in the past two weeks but are on a high following their 2-0 two-legged semi-final win over Darwen.
In the final they now await the winners of Cheadle Town and Colne, who lead 2-1 from their home first leg.
Great Harwood have played just 20 league games so far but go to the Arbories on the same number of points as their hosts despite having five games in hand on them.
A horrific injury to goalkeeper Kirk Marsden clouded Padiham's game against Oldham Town on Saturday, which eventually had to be abandoned.
They are still waiting to hear if they will have to replay the game but were originally happy for Oldham to take the points as they were 3-1 up when the players left the field in the 85th minute.
BACUP Borough are also hoping to complete a game tonight after a waterlogged pitch wiped out their home fixture with Woodley Sports on Saturday.
However, the West View playing surface should have cleared up in time for tonight's North West Counties League Division One home game with Atherton Collieries (7.45pm).
