COMMUNITY Action in Rossendale (CAR) is looking for more community, voluntary or faith groups to join its organisation.
CAR is a charitable membership organisation, which was set up to bring together community, voluntary and faith groups in Rossendale.
It works out of the Mary Hindle Resource Centre in Haslingden and offers a range of facilities and services including a resource room with modern office equipment and a meeting and training space.
It is free to join and holds bi-monthly network forum meetings, at which members are invited to swap advice and ideas with other groups.
CAR is managed by a board of directors, elected by members, which meets on a regular basis.
