BOLTON Associatition side Astley and Tyldesley have appointed a Jamaican fast bowler as their new professional.
He is 22 years old Andrew Richardson, who has represented West Indies at U19 and 'B' level.
His first class career was hit by a career threatening back injury, which he now seems to have overcome and he is held in high regard in the West Indies, as a bowler in the 'style' of Curtley Ambrose.
He took 24 wickets for West Indies 'B' last season in the Carib Beer Cup and has taken 15 so far for Jamaica this term, with four rounds still to play. His wicket hauls to date include 5-42 v Kenya and 4-36 v Barbados.
