DARWEN and Bolton police joined together to trace a mystery thief who was specialising in cash-only break-ins at public houses in the area.
The Bowling Green Hotel, the Sun Hotel and the Waggoner's Arms were all victims of the thief who left cigarettes and spirits but raided the till.
