TO celebrate its 20th anniversary Specsavers Opticians has selected Guide Dogs for the Blind as its new national charity.
The company's 51 stores in the North West will help to raise more than £100,000 to help train 20 new Guide Dog puppies -- one for every year that Specsavers has been in business.
Guide Dogs will replace Sight Savers International as the opticians' nominated charity, for whom they raised well over £200,000 in two years to help prevent and treat blindness in developing countries.
