THE present councillors have made gross errors in the changes to Accrington. The bus station should have been left as it was. There is far too much congestion, causing frustration to bus drivers and danger to pedestrians.
Why did the council not fit traffic lights on Eagle Street? When catching a bus at 5 o'clock you can be sitting on it for half an hour before it clears this area alone.
The market area should have some distance between itself and the road. It is not a safe area to shop with children.
Accrington used to have a really good fish market but now it has one stall with clothing stalls near it.
All the errors this council have made will surely impact on residents' council tax this year as they try to put things right. Why should we continue to pay for this council's expensive mistakes?
