In the historic section, Craig Wallace was rewarded for his efforts in keeping father Colin on the right track with prizes for top co-driver and the best performance by a novice. Colin was second driver overall.
And among prizewinners in the Proprep Rally Championship were the women co-driving trio of Shelley Rogerson (third in the co-driver standings), Katy Mashiter (first in Class C) and Helen Davies (first in Class D).
The 2004 season for Morecambe Car Club starts with the first of two events at Hemplands Farm, Haverigg, next Sunday, February 29.
The event offers a 40-mile mix of broken tarmac interspersed with a small amount of grass and gravel, with all eight stages at the same venue.
