Although warned by one of their own MPs months previously, the Government did nothing whatsoever to prevent the "cockle-pickers" disaster and due to their non-existent Immigration and Border Patrol policies these poor Chinese were allowed to enter the UK unheeded and uncared for. Everyone of the other European States (except Ireland) have put an early embargo on a mass influx of economic migrants by refusing them full social benefits for seven years, the burgeoning cost to British taxpayer and our children will be felt for decades to come because PM Blair refuses to listen to the voters. His propaganda was achieved by ordering police forces nationwide, not to arrest any illegal immigrants, thereby denying them the chance to claim asylum! So his 'target' has been achieved by duplicity, 'smoke and mirrors', call it what you like, it is totally dishonest!
