FUNDRAISERS for East Lancashire's three hospices are looking to recruit members of the public to sell raffle tickets to friends, family and colleagues.
In February alone the hospices' joint appeal, which is raffling a Mini Cooper, has raised almost £3,000. The aim is to raise £100,000 by August.
Each month, since last September, Rossendale, East Lancashire and Pendleside hospices, have taken it in turns to display a Mini, similar to the one to be won, around their region.
Money raised in each area will go to that hospice rather than having a three way split.
This month the Mini has been in Blackburn, Hyndburn and Ribble Valley and will go to Burnley and Pendle for March.
But tickets will still be available from all three hospices and fundraisers at East Lancashire Hospice, Blackburn, want to hear from people prepared to sell tickets on their behalf.
For more information call 01200 660900. Next week the Mini is on display at Booths in Clitheroe on Tuesday, Blackburn Asda on Friday and Accrington Asda at the weekend.
