A 19-YEAR-OLD woman has been arrested after a 28-year-old man was found dead with stab wounds.

Police were called to a house in Commercial Street, Great Harwood, at 11pm last night and discovered the body.

A post-mortem examination was due to be carried out today. Police have not yet released the victim's name as his family are yet to be informed.

The woman is being held in custody at Greenbank Police Station, Whitebirk, and was due to be questioned by detectives today.

The area around the house was cordoned off by police today ready for a forensic examination of the scene.

A police spokesman said: "The investigation is at an early stage and no further details are available."
