ROSSENDALE and Pendle Mountain Rescue Team is looking for ramblers and runners to take part in its annual Rossendale Way in a Day fund-raiser.
The event is being held on Saturday, July 3, and will take participants on a journey through the Rossendale valley.
Entrants can choose to do the full 45 miles of the 22-mile Halfway in a Day.
The entry fee is £10 and prizes will be awarded for the first walkers and first runners back on both distances.
The rescue team will be on hand throughout the day to provide drinks and food and there will be a meal served on completion of the hike.
Anyone who takes part will be helping to raise vital funds for the rescue team, which is run entirely by volunteers and is available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
For more information and an entry form contact Andy Ellis, Rossendale and Pendle Mountain Rescue Team, 46 Clegg Street, Haslingden, BB4 5LW, or telephone 01706 217371.
